Raphael Varane wants Real Madrid stay

Raphael Varane insists he hasn't considered leaving Real Madrid.

The defender was handed a surprise start against Manchester City this week.

"I'm happy. If I don't play, I want to play, that's normal," he explained to Marca.

"I work hard every day. I don't plan on leaving. I had an average pre-season and that's why I hadn't played until now, but I have Mourinho's backing"
