Raphael Varane delighted with first months at Real Madrid

Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane admits he's loved his first months with his new club.

Varane has already made his first team debut in both in the Champions League and Primera Division.

He told L'Equipe: "Everything's going fast for me. Only one year ago I wasn't training with professionals at Lens and now I've already made my debut with Real Madrid at the Bernabeu. It's a grandiose and amazing stadium. I realised this when I landed at the airport. I felt I was entering a different world."

"Mourinho asks me to play at a high level. I'm young, so before my first game he told me to avoid asking myself too many questions in order to avoid feeling pressure. Mourinho knows what I need and he's trying to enhance my qualities."
