Ramos: Price-tag won't decide my Real Madrid place

New Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has put his hand up for today's clash with Celta Vigo.
 
Ramos was paraded in front of the local media by president Florentino Perez on Thursday and has had little chance to meet his new teammates due to national team duty with Spain, but he is eager to make his debut for his new club.

"I'm at the disposition of the coach and it must be he who decides if he puts me in or not. For me there is no problem," said Ramos.

"At the moment, I have come here to work hard, improve and to give my best. My price-tag will have no bearing on whether I play or not. I am beginning at zero and now want to repay the fans that have shown great trust in me."

"I have spoken with Raul, Salgado and Casillas and must thank them for the treatment they have given me. They are players of much weight with Real Madrid and with Spain and their words have helped me much."
