Ramos: Pellegrini can leave Real Madrid with head held high

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos says if Manuel Pellegrini is to leave, the coach can go through the "front door" with his head held high.

Real's title challenge fizzled out at Malaga Sunday after drawing 1-1.

"If Pellegrini is going to leave, he will go through the front door, with the love of all the players, because he is a great coach, but above all a great person," said Ramos.

He added: "Now is no time to regret mistakes. It is when we must be united and return next season with a cool head. We had a great season in the league but we have failed in the Champions League and the Copa."
