Rafael Varane happy to accept Real Madrid challenge

Rafael Varane knows he will have to be patient to taste first team action at Real Madrid.

The French teen was a regular at Lens last season and accepts his move to Real is a huge jump in quality.

"But I like this," he smiled.

"I love challenges. I love tests to succeed, to progress. When you've got ahead of yourself such a project, an ambitious person cannot refuse. I think it can be a great adventure."
