Racing Santander seek loan deal for Real Madrid's Higuain

Racing Santander have approached Real Madrid for their recent signing Gonzalo Higuain.

Racing want to take the Argentine striker, who will join Real Madrid on January 1 from River Plate, on-loan for the second-half of the season.

Higuain carries a French passport, but is unlikely to break into Real's first team this season with Ruud van Nistelrooy and Ronaldo ahead of him.
