Racing Santander president Pernia: We lacked fight against Real Madrid

Racing Santander president Francisco Pernia says his team lacked "fight" after their 6-1 thrashing by Real Madrid.

Pernia's men fell to a devastating performance by los Blancos, who ran out 6-1 winners at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"We conceded two early goals through ignorance, which you can't do against Real Madrid," Pernia admitted to AS.

"Real Madrid is a great team, as we have seen over recent games. We were very naive for trying to play Real Madrid one for one. In Madrid you have to fight and fight for the match," said the Racing president.
