Queiroz Praises Ronaldo Masterclass

Real Madrid coach Carlos Queiroz was full of praise for striker Ronaldo after his two goals in the 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao.

"Ronaldo has played very well and created many opportunities to score," he said.

"It has been a game opened up by both teams. Both teams played attacking games, always tried to break with speed and determination to make goals."

"We must congratulate Bilbao for their performance."

"I'm very happy to be back at the top of the table. Though, I must apologise for my prediction that Ronaldo would score against Athletic - in fact, he scored twice!"
