Queiroz Pleased With Real Work Ethic

Real Madrid coach Carlos Queiroz hopes that yesterday's 2-1 win over Atletico will bring the players closer to the fans after a difficult recent run.

"We did what we had to do. We were playing a match away from home, against a very difficult team," Queiroz said. "The way we won, with our determination, will give us great confidence for the title run-in. This win will help us reconcile ourselves with our supporters."
