Queiroz: It Was An Open Game

Real Madrid coach Carlos Queiroz acknowledged that there were plenty of chances in his side's 0-0 draw with Partizan Belgrade.

"It was a good, open game but we haven't achieved the win needed to guarantee first place in our group," he said.

"If we had scored it would have influenced them psychologically, but it was not achieved and the game was open with two teams in search of the victory."

"Both teams played to win. Madrid created clearly at least four opportunities to score and we could have won. And in the end the Partizan has created two opportunities to score and we escaped losing."
