Puyol: Eto'o has shown his passion for Barcelona

Barcelona defender Carles Puyol has hailed the imminent arrival of Real Mallorca striker Samuel Eto'o.

"He will be a great addition," said Puyol. "He has shown great commitment to join Barcelona.

"He's a grandisimo player, a young person but with experience in Spain, that has had great success as much with Mallorca as his national team.

"He has great versatility, since he can play in other positions in addition to striker."
