PSV Eindhoven's Van Bommel happy with Real Madrid talk

PSV Eindhoven midfielder Mark Van Bommel has admitted he'd love a move to Real Madrid.

It emerged last week that a PSV director let slip Real's interest when Barcelona made an approach for Van Bommel.

Quizzed about the prospect of joining Real, Van Bommel said: "I'd love it, they're a club with a wonderful history, one of the best ones in the world at the moment, if not the best one. Of course I'd love to play for them."

Van Bommel is Cup-tied for European games this season, but could still end up at the Bernabeu in January if Real coach Jose Antonio Camacho's concerns over his midfield are proved correct.
