Pressure mounts on Del Bosque

Speculation is mounting that Real's under-fire coach Vicente Del Bosque could be sacked following Saturday's disappointing 0-0 draw with Alaves.

An uninspired and weary-looking Real did little to merit a victory against their Basque rivals, leaving them floundering in 16th place in the table with a series of tough matches ahead.

As a result, many critics now believe that Del Bosque could be on his way, with Roma chief Fabio Capello tipped to succeed him at the helm.

Sunday's game against Celta Vigo, who have yet to be beaten this year, will be followed by clashes with high-flyers Villarreal and Barcelona and The Madrilenos now must starting winning quickly if they are to have any hope of another league title.
