President Perez: Real Madrid top by December

Real Madrid will be "first or second by December", says president Florentino Perez.

Speaking after Real's triumph on Saturday against Valencia, Perez declared: "The players are now playing well and coach Mariano (Garcia Remon) can recognise the demands of the fans very well."

"He knows the fans do not just want to win, but also want that they provide a spectacle. We struggled in many games and, now, we are recovering normality."

"I am sure more that in December we will be first or second."

On the victory against Valencia, Perez added: "It went just like the Dinamo Kiev game. We should have won by a greater margin. We made many chances, but the best thing is that we're now starting to play our spectacular football again."
