President Calderon: Capello great for Real Madrid

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has handed coach Fabio Capello a vote of confidence.

"I believe that we are going to win the Liga title in Mallorca and although we have two teams ahead of us, we have ambition, hope and a grandisimo team," declared Calderon.

"He (Capello) arrived at a difficult time for the team: with eight new additions and a very difficult situation after three years of not winning anything - which caused things to not be easy."

"He is a grandisimo coach and we are pleased with him and hope to celebrate the Liga title at the end of the season."

Calderon also insisted Robinho's future was in Madrid.

"We want Robinho to continue with us for many years and are not going to sell him. He will soon be regarded as one of the top five players in the world in the future."
