Portugal coach Queiroz adds to Real Madrid tension

Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz is adding to the tension at his former club, Real Madrid.

Queiroz is demanding Pepe join Portugal's squad for their big friendly in Brazil this week, despite the Real defender carrying a leg injury.

Real have pleaded with Queiroz to allow Pepe to remain in Madrid, but the former Manchester United assistant boss is having none of it.

The Portuguese FA has scheduled a midday flight today from Valdebebas to Lisbon for Pepe and expect him to be on it.
