Porto's Carvalho ready for Real Madrid move

Porto defender Ricardo Carvalho insists he is open to a move to Real Madrid.

The Portugal international is also a major target for Chelsea, but his Porto president, Nuno Pinto de Costa, insists he won't move next season after rejecting an offer from Real last week.

Carvalho rubbished his president's comments yesterday, saying: "Real Madrid is a great club and any player would want to go where they can experience the best conditions."

"I have my personal objectives, but still it is not the moment for speaking of those things."
