Porto president slams Inter Milan over Carvalho

Porto president Nuno Pinto da Costa has slammed Inter Milan over their interest for defender Ricardo Carvalho.

Inter have been negotiating with Porto since the end of last season for Carvalho, but Da Costa insists no concrete bid has been made and that the Nerazzurri are now well behind Real Madrid and Chelsea in the race for the player's signature.

"I have not received any offer from Inter Milan for Ricardo Carvalho, not personally at least," rapped Da Costa.

"I am tired of speaking with intermediaries and friends of friends."

"If they do not come to speak directly with me or the club, then they won't be part of any operation."
