Portillo: I don't want to leave Real Madrid

Javier Portillo insists he isn't interested in being loaned out by Real Madrid for the second-half of the season.

The Spanish wonder-kid was offered to Benfica trainer Jose Antonio Camacho last week and is also being chased by Real Valladolid.

But he said, "I have spent ten years in the junior teams of Real Madrid. I am not going to spend the next four months away from the club when I am so close to playing senior football."

Real president Florentino Perez agrees, announcing at a Christmas function this week that the young striker would not be made available for loan during the January market.
