Pique confident Messi won't join Florentino's Real Madrid

Gerard Pique is confident Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi won't be tempted to Real Madrid by Florentino Perez.

Perez has declared their 'non-aggression' pact with Barca is over, which has led to speculation of a Real bid for Messi.

But Pique says: "Lionel will not want to leave, despite strong pressure from Florentino Perez."

"It is a pleasure and luck to have the opportunity to take the field at his side and I want that to be the case in the coming seasons."
