Perez to Ronaldo: Real Madrid is your home

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez couldn't hide his excitement at landing his third big signing in three seasons.

As Ronaldo was unveiled to the local Madrid media yesterday at the Santiago Bernabeu, Perez announced: "Ronaldo, you are going to receive the same affection as you have shown this historical club."

"We want that you see us as your own home, because this club is your home. Welcome to Real Madrid."

The Brazilian was presented with his No11 jersey by club great and honorary president Alfredo Di Stefano.

He then said, "My will has been very great to come here. I hope to repay the club because the responsibility to win is very great. I hope to play great games and to score many goals."
