Perez: Real Madrid wasn't created to finish second

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez refuses to give up on the Liga title this season.
 
Speaking before Saturday's thumping of Racing Santander, Perez declared: "If we win all the games that are left, we will reach 84 points and with that number, enough possibilities exist of us being champions."

"We are going to keep fighting for the Liga. Even if we do not win it this season, we will keep fighting because it will prepare us for next season. Real Madrid was not created to finish second."
