Real have made just one addition to the squad this summer, midfielder Zinedine Zidane, who arrived at the Bernabeu via Juventus, smashing the world transfer record in the process.
Chairman Perez reckons that the squad is now complete and all that remains is for the club to trim back the number of players already in the squad from 32 to 25.
But coach Vicente Del Bosque would like to see reinforcements in certain areas of the team, principally in the defence.
Del Bosque wants to upgrade the central defence and right-back positions but Perez is saying that to finance any signings, they must start selling their unwanted playing staff.
So far, Real have been unable to find clubs that would be willing to buy the likes of Tote, Alberto Rivera, Dorado, Julio Alvarez and Flavio Concecaio.
