Perez keen to revive £75M Real Madrid bid for Man Utd's Ronaldo

Real Madrid are willing to offer Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo £200,000-a-week to bring him to Spain.

The Mirror says the Spanish giants refuse to be put off by Manchester United's insistence that Ronaldo is not for sale and are encouraged by the noises coming out of the World Player of the Year's camp.

Florentino Perez will make signing Ronaldo his priority if, as expected, he is re-elected as Real president on June 14.

Perez wants talks with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes to renegotiate the provisional deal he agreed with ex-president Ramon Calderon after last season's Champions League Final.

He is prepared to pay United £75million for the Portuguese star and hand him a 20 per cent pay rise.
