Perez confirms: Real Madrid wants Del Bosque to re-sign

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed the club is ready to offer trainer Vincente del Bosque a new deal.

"Everybody at the club are delighted with him, employees, players... Nobody has a doubt that he will continue with us next year - if he wants," said Perez.

Asked about the comments from his president, a typically reserved Del Bosque replied: "I have been with Real Madrid for 35 years..."

He then went on, "We are in a good position for the double. Against the English we had a good result, but seeing the game on tape, we deserved more."

Perez added, "Surely we are going to finish off the task in Manchester. In the European Cup we feel very comfortable."
