Perez: Barcelona will slip up

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez shrugged off last night's humiliation at Barcelona.

Despite now being seven points behind Barca, Perez insisted: "It's just like the Athletic Bilbao result. We've simply dropped three points, nothing else."

"Barcelona have played superbly this season, but they cannot continue this great form forever. If they did, they'd break all records."

"We're not halfway through the season, there is still a very long way to go."
