Pepe returns as Real Madrid squad travels for Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund

Real Madrid have announced their 22-man squad for the trip to Borussia Dortmund this week, with Pepe returning to the party.

Los Blancos head into the Champions League fixture off the back of two straight draws, after dropping points against Villarreal and Las Palmas.

However, Zinedine Zidane will be keen for his side to display their mental strength by getting a win against Thomas Tuchel’s men on Tuesday night.

Zidane has some good news ahead of the fixture, after Pepe was named in his 22-man squad after the 33-year-old missed the last two league games through injury.

His compatriot Fabio Coentrao also makes a welcome return, after missing the entirety of this season so far with an injury he suffered at Monaco at the back-end of last term.

Keylor Navas is also looking to get his No.1 spot back in between the sticks, with Kiko Casilla filling in for the Costa Rica international so far this campaign.

As expected, Marcelo misses out after suffering an injury against Villarreal last week and Casemiro sits it out with a recently sustained broken leg.
