Pepe pleased with Real Madrid return

Pepe was pleased with his return to the Real Madrid first team in yesterday's 3-2 victory at Recreativo Huelva.

The Portugal international was given just under an hour by coach Bernd Schuster and said afterwards: "It is a very important and necessary victory for us. As for me, I felt very good in my return to the team after injury, I was comfortable."

"Now I hope to continue having continuity and to be able to play more. We fought hard against Recreativo and we won. Hopefully we can do this again against Roma this week."
