Pepe inked new Real Madrid contract earlier this month

Pepe has signed a new contract with Real Madrid.

Marca says the Portugal defender put pen to paper on a new contract on April 2.

The new agreement runs to 2015, with the option for another year, and is worth €4 million-a-year.

Pepe was sent off for Real in last night's Champions League defeat to Barcelona.
