Pepe: Agüero Is Good But He Will Get Better

As Real Madrid prepare to face Atlético Madrid this weekend defender Pepe has said Sergio Agüero is good but he will get better and is not yet at the same level as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and........Guti!

Real Madrid might have started the season poorly against Deportivo La Coruña but they are starting to pick up and they meet Atlético Madrid this Saturday in a derby which is sure to be intense.

Both sides will be desperate to win and the key players on the pitch are likely to be the forwards and the defenders, such as Pepe. The Portuguese international has been one of the best players for the club so far this year and today he rated their opponents best player of the season so far, Sergio Agüero.

"It is difficult to cover players like this with so much quality, you know you have to be close to them and not allow them to think, to try and keep his back to our goal."

"Kun is one of the better players but there is still time for him to be the best, he is very young, has a lot of quality and will become a big player."

"Atlético do not just worry me with Kun though but with the strong team they have. The power is in the collective with players like Simao, Maniche and Diego Forlán," he noted.

Whilst those players will no doubt be key so to will some of the injuries to both sides, with Guti one of the key men out for Real Madrid in midfield. Speaking about his team-mate Pepe said that he is like 'Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, a unique player.'

In this fixture last year Pepe had to be subbed off after less than twenty minutes due to injury and he says that this time around he wants to atone.

"Last time left me with a bad taste because of the injury and I hope that this year is different but the same for the team. I hope that again we win and bring three points home," he said.

Whilst Pepe might be focused on Kun though his colleague at the back Sergio Ramos says that they need to pay attention to Diego Forlán too or else they will be made to pay.

"We should not focus all our attention on one player [Agüero], Forlán is just as dangerous and we cannot be caught napping or we will be punished," said the Spain international.
