Pellegrini says his goodbyes to Real Madrid players

Manuel Pellegrini said goodbye to his Real Madrid players at yesterday's recovery session.

AS says the Chilean will remain in contact with the club this week before finalising his contract compensation and signing off on it on Monday.

After training, Pellegrini met with general manager Jorge Valdano and sports director Miguel Pardeza and spoke with the pair for 15 minutes.

Valdano has always been straight with Pellegrini and informed the coach that he was unlikely to carry on next season.
