Pellegrini: Mourinho will not last distance at Real Madrid

Manuel Pellegrini says Jose Mourinho will fail to last the distance at Real Madrid.

The Chilean was sacked this week so that Mourinho could step in to the Santiago Bernabeu job.

"I don’t think I made any particular mistakes," said Pellegrini. "I trained for five years in Spain and knew that Coaches never last long at Real Madrid."

"In my view this is a strategic error and I hope that sooner or later they can fix it."
