Pele urges Neymar to choose Real Madrid if he leaves Santos

Pele is backing Santos star Neymar's move to Real Madrid.

Pele is a Santos icon and says if they must part with the player, he would prefer to see him at Real.

"For Spain and Madrid, Neymar is prepared," Pele told AS.

"I think he's ready to jump in and I see him in a position to succeed at Madrid."

"I could never go to Spain because they were different times and circumstances were not those we now see in the global soccer market."
