Pedja: Real Madrid already good enough to win Champions League

Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic insists the squad is already strong enough to win the Champions League next season.

"I am sorry if anyone is disappointed, but I will not talk about Cristiano Ronaldo," said Mijatovic, when asked about their transfer plans this summer. "I will not give any names and I hope that you understand."

"Bringing in a star would not break our philosophy or spirit. In addition, we will not be looking for stars, but players who will improve the team. And I repeat: I am happy with the current team. Comparing with what exists in the world with what we have ... I cannot see much difference."

"The truth is I do not dare sell a player who has won two leagues and is used to the club for a new one. I do not want to spoil a winning team, because I've played here in a winning team."

Mijatovic added: "Without doubt. With this team we can win the European Cup."
