Pavon to pen new Real Madrid deal today

Real Madrid defender Francisco Pavon will pen a new contract today, keeping him at the club until 2007.

The Spaniard earned the deal courtesy of a clause in his existing contract which rewards him an extension once he has completed 100 Liga games.

Pavon's agent, Inaki Ibanez, and Real sports director Jorge Valdano will finalise terms this morning ahead of the young stopper inking his new deal.
