Parreira urges Real Madrid target Robinho to leave Brazil

Brazil coach Carlos Parreira says the time is right for star winger Robinho to leave Santos and move to Europe.

"It is better Robinho leaves (Santos)," said Parreira. "When a player has that European experience, he returns a better player."

"In Europe the situation is different. There they have more organization, the trainers are better and the player is forced to mature."

Robinho, 21, is expected to confirm a move to Real Madrid before the end of this season. His parents were in Madrid last month house-hunting, despite denials from Santos that a deal has been agreed.
