Palermo's Amauri rules out Real Madrid move

Palermo striker Amauri has cooled talk of a move to Real Madrid.

He said: "A team like Real Madrid would be a pleasure for any player. But I see my future in Italy not abroad."

"Why Italy? I have been here for 8-9 years, I see that the top Italian teams want me, I grew up partly here and playing for a great team in Italy for me would be beautiful."

"I want to know what it is to win a Scudetto and to fight to win a Champions League, these are the feelings that I want to try for."

"Surely the money is important, I have a family, I have two children and I want the best for them and for me too."
