Palermo move to trump Roma for Real Madrid midfielder Gago

Palermo have moved to trump AS Roma today for Real Madrid midfielder Fernando Gago.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini has reached an agreement with Real Madrid to take the midfielder.

He still needs to work out personal terms with the player, but can offer similar circumstances to Roma, as both went out of the Europa League in the preliminary rounds.
