Ozil admits growing up idolising Real Madrid legend Zidane

Mesut Ozil admits he grew up idolising Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane.

The Germany midfielder also admits he enjoys playing with Cristiano Ronaldo.

"Ronaldo? He has scored plenty of goals, and he is the perfect player," Ozil told La Sexta.

"As for Zidane, he was my idol, and I have seen almost all of his games. He too was the perfect player."

"His goal against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League final [in 2002] was simply incredible."
