Now Spanish sources claim a move to Real Madrid has been finalised.

The cash will help finalise a move for Real Sociedad midfielder Xabi Alonso and Barcelona winger Luis Garcia, but will leave them short on options up-front.
New £14million arrival Djibril Cisse and Euro 2004 Golden Boot winner Milan Baros will start, but with only Florent Sinama Pongolle as back-up, boss Rafael Benitez will have to move quickly for another striker.
