Osasuna's Cruchaga fumes: Real Madrid were taking the p***

Osasuna defender Cesar Cruchaga blamed the arrogance of Real Madrid's players for Saturday's push-and-shove contest between both teams.

Cruchaga and teammate Pablo Garcia had angry words with several Real players after an all-in shoving match which was sparked by Ivan Helguera's stunning goal late on.

"After they went three and then four ahead, they started passing the ball around and taking the p***," said Cruchaga.

"I believe you should always play like you are drawing the game. You should always play to win."

"It burns you up when something like that happens, but this is what happens sometimes in football."

At the final whistle Garcia and Helguera again exchanged heated words and had to be separated by teammates.
