Olympiakos try again for Real Madrid striker Portillo

Olympiakos have approached Real Madrid again for striker Javier Portillo.

The Spanish U21 international rejected an offer from the Greek giants last month of a permanent move to Athens on a salary of £800,000-plus, including car and apartment.

But Real are open to Olympiakos' new offer, which is for a season-long loan. Real coach Jose Antonio Camacho does not want to see Portillo sold, but can't guarantee him time in the first team this season. A move, on-loan, to Olympiakos is a possibility that Camacho is urging Portillo and his representatives to now consider.
