Real Madrid kept their winning run alive as they visited Santander to face Racing Club in their last La Liga game and emerged winners with a 3-0 scoreline. Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Yan Diomande scored the three goals for the Merengues.
Following this win, Los Blancos are now set to return to their favorite competition, the UEFA Champions League. They will be travelling to Greece to face AEK Athens in their fourth game of the League Phase.
Real Madrid have announced their squad for this game, and there are four notable changes in the list as compared to the list for the game against Racing. One of them is Federico Valverde, as the Uruguayan midfielder returns to availability after missing the last league game due to a physical problem that he suffered during El Clasico. However, it remains to be seen whether Jose Mourinho will put him back in the starting eleven for this UCL game.
The second is Vincius Junior. The Brazilian is still serving his four-match suspension in La Liga, but remains available for UCL. As a result, he has been called up by the Portuguese coach, and is likely to start the match tonight as well.
Meanwhile, Arda Guler and Aurelien Tchouameni have been left out of the list to give them some time to rest, while the young midfielder Sergio Martinez has been called up.
