This is the same knee that bothered him throughout most of the 2025-26 season.
Mbappé will get more tests on his injury at Valdebebas, where he should get some clarification about how much time he will need to miss in order to properly recover from it. Real Madrid face Barcelona in a decisive El Clásico on October 25th, so the French striker potentially missing that game should not be entirely ruled out depending on the extent of his injury.
