Nuri Sahin still to appear for Real Madrid in 2012

Nuri Sahin is yet to play for Real Madrid in 2012.

The Turkey midfielder has not appeared in any of their eight games so far this year.

Real coach Jose Mourinho did consider sending him away on-loan this month, before ruling out such a switch.

"The preseason is over. The only thing is that he's not had the chance to play," said Mourinho. "He's paying for not doing preseason."
