No Transfers? No Problemo, Says Del Bosque

Real Madrid coach Vicente Del Bosque said he would not make a fuss if the club fails to sign any player this summer.

The European Champions resumed training today with the same squad as last season. "I am still hoping we can get a new central defender", Del Bosque insisted.

"But if we are not going to get any new player on board, my lips will be sealed. But it is a fact our squad needs to be freshened".

Therefore players from the youth set-up like Minambres and Portillo, as well as Argentine midfielder Esteban Cambiasso, have been promoted to the first team.
