Real Madrid are furious at the disparaging comments made by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.

Though no official rebuke has been made, Real directors are fuming over the Frenchman's tirade this week against the club over their interest in Patrick Vieira.

Wenger has rubbished Real's rich European history - which is likely to end any chance he had of managing the club in the future.
