No Real Madrid clause for England boss Eriksson

The England FA have denied claims that manager Sven Goran Eriksson has a get-out clause in his contract allowing him to join Real Madrid.

Eriksson's name is back in the frame at Real after this week's Champions League shock.

Real president Florentino Perez is furious with the way his multi-millionaires blew a 4-2 first-leg lead to the unfancied French club.

He will now seek a new manager to present as part of his July campaign to be re-elected as president.

But sources close to the Swede have told The Sun he has no interest in taking charge at Madrid, where he feels he would be on a hiding to nothing.

And they insist there was no mention of Real or any other specific club when they were negotiating Sven's £5million-a-year deal.
