No Lazio move as Solari sticks with Real Madrid

Santiago Solari is happy to stay with Real Madrid, despite the interest of Lazio.

Lazio had agreed terms with the Argentine before last week's transfer deadline, but the departures of Pedro Munitis, Steve McManaman and Claude Makelele forced Real to block the deal.

Solari now feels he is back in the first team reckoning and is happy to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"It's flattering that great clubs and great coaches are interested in me," said Solari. "But it is doubly flattering that Real Madrid don't want me to leave."
