No keeper signing for Real Madrid

Real Madrid have ruled out signing a new goalkeeper.
 
Despite allowing veteran Cesar to leave on a Bosman at the end of this season, Real won't seek a replacement signing.

Instead, 23 year-old Diego Lopez will be promoted as No1 Iker Casillas' understudy. Lopez has been training with the first team squad all season and did enough to convince coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo that he can be relied upon as a backup next term.
